Diploma of Information Technology (Programming) is a program offered by
Polytechnic Balik Pulau under the Department of Information and
Communications Technology and chaired by Mr. Haji Mohd Azlan bin Ash'ari
Head of Department of Information Technology & Communications
Polytechnic Balik Pulau. This program is offered to students for 3 years
at the Polytechnic Balik Pulau.
While taking this course there are a certain course required by each
student to take before getting called a graduate in Diploma. Industrial Training was conducted for 6 months,
which is equivalent to one semester. For session in December 2014, this
training run for 20 weeks starting on December 1, 2014 to 17 April 2015.
It is also designed to provide exposure and experience to students and
as early preparation for students before stepping into the working
world.
I applied and now got offered to finish my industrial training in
Weestech Multimedia Sdn Bhd in Penang. During this training I was given
the opportunity to work in a well known company and also opened up my
knowledge regarding the working world. The new softwares I had learned
helped me understand the needs of a hired programmer and increase
academic understanding more clearly and extensively. I have also learned
to comply with the regulations set forth in the company and learn real
work ethic. This course is an important part of the learning curriculum
for all courses in polytechnic diploma. Students who are eligible to be
awarded a Diploma Polytechnic Ministry of Education Malaysia Technical
hinted graduated in industrial training.
